[Manga Review] The Story of Someone We Know

Slice of life's story is always attract my attention. It's reminds me of how life could be simple yet still interesting. Just an ordinary story, everyday life, and maybe a regular problems that happen someone we know.

"The story of someone we know" or "Aneun Saram Iyagi" is a manhwa that tell stories about three  25-age women with their not-so-common daily life.

The first woman is Mira. She has a good job with good salary with a good career prospect. However, she is unfortunate with her love-life, so she is still single.

The second woman is Summer. She is unemployed, still living with her parents. She is the romantic-type childish woman who constantly feels lovey-dovey towards her boyfriend. Hence, she is often feels lonely when her boyfriend is not around.

The third woman is Jung Ah. She has an ok job. She lives together with her boyfriend, who is a writer. They have been in relationship for five years.

This manhwa tells how these three girls are growing through the trouble that they experienced.

Mira learn to stop her desperation and find courage. Summer learn to take responsibility and getting busy. Jung Ah learn to express her feelings, to speak up her minds.

It's funny how elder people tried to act wisely by keeping calm and teasing the younger people.
Somehow it reminds me to any wise character in a book or in a story. They look wise, because they are not involved in the problem. They are outside the circle. Therefore, their mind keep clean, fresh and straight, compared to the main character who is involved in the problem.
Being wise means that we need to step back and see the general idea of the problem, the purpose of the matter.

Feel shy, afraid, and mindful is normal. Most people are like that.
Self-conflict. If no self-conflict involved, perhaps one could never outcome with best strategy in life.

So, stop, take a deep breath, step back, and stare.  *)analyze would be the better word, but it feels like a heavy word.
